The organization South Carolina Committed Dental Hygienists was established as an official chartered professional organization under the state laws of South Carolina on July 12th, 1993.

The purpose of SCCDH is to promote and preserve the profession of Dental Hygiene and the entire Dental Team while providing representation to all South Carolina hygienists.

We wish to inform you of any proposed changes in the laws as well as offer continuing education courses to keep you promoting and improving the quality of dental care. We urge you to join our organization, if you

believe in the concept of teamwork, high ethical and moral standards and a passion for improving dental care in the community for the underserved. If you have any information to contribute we would love to hear from you. With your support we can make this happen.
